This week we’re featuring two of our adoptable pets at HSWA: Angelica and Twizzler.
ANGELICA

We think Angelica is, well, kind of angelic! This lady is super sweet and personable with an easy-going attitude. She’s seeking a home where she can feel safe and receive plenty of care, and she surely deserves to find it. Angelica has a bit of a tough background: In her former circumstances, she wasn’t getting enough to eat or proper care. That hasn’t diminished her spirit, though. Angelica still shows so much joy and hope for a better life.
At just over a year old, Angelica is a Dachshund/Hound mix who currently weighs about 27 pounds. She gets along well with other dogs, and we even think she deserves the title of Miss Congeniality! Angelica would love some canine playmates in her forever home, and she should do great with kids, too. She will thrive in an active home where she can go on adventures and, most importantly, settle into a wonderful, secure life ahead. Could you be the one to make that dream come true?
Angelica is up to date on her vet care and is heartworm negative. She is microchipped and has been spayed.
TWIZZLER

If you’re ready to swirl up some fun with a new furry family member, Twizzler is your guy! Twizzler is ready to sweeten up his forever family’s life with all the classic kitten attributes: He’s sweet, curious, and playful. At under six months old, Twizzler has plenty of energy and loves to play with toys, but he’ll happily approach you to get some snuggles when he’s ready to rest for a minute.
Since he’s an all-around great guy, Twizzler would be a good fit for any family. He does especially enjoy playing with his brother Moonpie, so if you’re looking for even more kitten love, they would make a great pair. Two kittens are more fun than one, after all!
Twizzler is up-to-date on vaccinations and is negative for feline immunodeficiency virus and feline leukemia, and he has been neutered.
If you’re interested in either Angelica or Twizzler (or both!), please fill out an application on our web site (found under our “Dogs” and “Cats” pages).
