Jake is a pup who’s ready to find his happily ever after home, and he surely deserves to. He made his way to us after being abandoned and then picked up by Animal Control. Based on his condition at the time, Jake hadn’t had an easy life. Impressively, though, that hasn’t dampened his sweet spirit. Jake is a laid-back guy who enjoys meeting new people and pups, and he’s super friendly. Just look at that smile!
At around five years old, Jake is past the stage where he’s full of puppy energy, but he’s still playful, and he especially enjoys meeting and romping around with other dogs. He hasn’t been tested around cats or children, but his overall low-key attitude suggests he’d make an excellent family pet. And that’s a good thing because, in addition to a fenced-in yard, what Jake wants most is a home with a comfy couch where he can snuggle up with his people.
Jake is up-to-date on vet care, is heartworm-negative, and has been neutered and microchipped. He is current on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. If you’re interested in Jake or any other animals at the Humane Society of West Alabama, please fill out an adoption application or email us at info@humanesocietyofwa.org.
